A website is an opportunity to communicate with your members and increase participation in Sport. A website is also a great medium to disseminate information, sell merchandise and promote sponsors of Sport. A website can also be used to do administrative tasks like processing membership forms and payments.
Unlike other web design agencies, enVirtua's web services are lead by an experienced sportsman and high level sports coach (Judo). We have been creating websites for sports organisations since the mid 1990s and we have delivered sites for clubs, athletes and national governing bodies.

Simple web applications: We believe that very small simple web applications can be hugely positive for Sport websites. For example, if you could do more of your paperwork online would that help your club secretary? How about posting your training schedule on a private section of the site for the players to download or view?
Typical examples of web applications in sport are membership and competition entry forms. These allow you to automate many of the administrative tasks that people in sport often find themselves bogged down with. They also can be used to make the website more interesting and useful to visitors. For example a VERY common feature now is to have a news page that can be updated online by various official. Or you could include the latest results from international events automatically.
Our approach:
enVirtua's approach is to create simple websites that serve a specific audience, perhaps coaches, or maybe players. We then iteratively create specific sites for the other segments of your community. We like to create a simple site, then revise it after you have had time to review how it is working for you. This is done over and over, regularly improving the site and delivering a site more and more useful to your visitors and your organisation.
We begin first with an informal chat over the phone, then we move forward to discovery session with you and interested parties by phone or in person to learn about what specific ideas and needs you have. After this we shall work with someone within your organisation to develop a prototype site within two weeks. We then revise the design and deliver a version 1.0 website (within two weeks), which is simple and works and goes live online. Any small corrections get put online as we are notified as 1.1x versions. 6 weeks later we will hold a second session to decide what the next set of features for the site will be. From here we create the 1.2 version of the site within whatever timeframe we decide along with you. From this point on, we shall continue to revise and modify the site regularly with you.
